Are you afraid of a WORK FROM HOME BUSINESS?

Are you skeptical?  I was one of the millions of people that did not believe I could be successful working from home. 

Here's what I did instead of joining in the fun!

• I tried to come up with my own ideas to make money from home. 
• These ideas included: photography, sewing, childcare, crafting, and the list goes on and on!
• I listened to others that said only a few people actually make money at these companies. 
• I researched multileveled companies. 
• I prayed about it!
• I researched some more!

I already worked full time so I didn't want to pull more time away from my family. I needed something to make a couple extra hundred dollars. 

This is what I found out in my journey!

• Our company is debt free. 
• They promote debt free people so they give cash instead of things!
• You can work this business on the go, phone, computer, in between. It is a job but you can work it as you go!
• You have to learn how to promote it just like you have to learn other jobs and skills! 
• It's a fun job and rewarding to help others with their health and wealth!!!
• There was no need to recreate a job because there was one waiting for me..I just had to get started!!!

I learned how to build a team of over 900 people from my phone while I managed my full time job as a teacher and busy mom of 9 kiddos!

Every MOM needs a VISION board!!!

Vision boards...They work!!!!

As mothers we find ourselves busy with the day to day task and we forget to dream. We become the wife, the mom and our own dreams and desires at times get stuck on the side lines.  Two years ago I became a true vision board believer!!!

I made a vision board on a piece of scratch poster board. I put things I truly dreamed that would be amazing for our family and for myself.   All but two of those things happened on my that dream board!!!

I became a dream believer...a hope broker in 2014! I believe God gives us two hands...ONE to give and ONE to receive! I am thankful to know that He knows us and He hears our prayers and our HOPES and DREAMS!!

Now I not only make my own dream boards but our entire family make dream boards!  We have dream board parties with friends and other family members! We have dream notebooks and vision posters in our rooms!!!

It's OK to go a DIFFERENT DIRECTION!!!!

LONG POST ALERT!!!
REFLECTION DAY for me and it's on my heart so much that I had to share!!! 

I never dreamed this would be my journey! After we had our 4th child (sweet Caroline) MY PLAN was to go back to college and become a teacher! I did that. I busted it to finish my degree with 4 busy kids! I never even considered there might be another plan for me! When I think back to the night Andrew and Leah ask steve and I to pray about ADOPTION....I thought they were CRAZY...I was finishing my last few semesters in college...ADOPTION was off the radar! I was honestly barely making it and needing lots of support from friends with the 4 busy children I had!  You can read all about that story when you have time by clicking HERE! 

God clearly had another plan for our family that included adopting 5 more beautiful children and joining a company that I was super skeptical of and didn't even think the products worked for an entire YEAR before I joined! 

Answering a call from God to adopt and to change our planned path was not an easy choice! Also, joining a company that I was afraid wouldn't work was scary..what if I spent 100 bucks..and it didn't work....I finally realized...it's the same as any other job-

what if I bought my first camera as a photographer and couldn't work the camera well you figure out how, 

what if I failed the praxis test after I took all the classes to become a teacher and paid all that money and went to school all that time? It's simple, you get the training you need to pass the test. What if you went to school to sell houses and went through all that work and money and couldn't sell any houses? Then you would figure out HOW TO DO IT.....It works is the same way....you pay $99 for your business kit and you learn how to use the products that are incredible by the way and then you learn how to promote them!!! 

It's a job just like all the other jobs!!! AND, God provides.. When you pray about whatever job you have God sends answers!!! 

There were many sleepless nights of worry and uncertainty. BUT there is such a joy and peace from answering a call from HIM a peace that I can't explain. 

If you are one of those people that feel called to do something else but not sure how to do it....if it's a job that holds you back or your fear...you have to ask yourself the questions...What's holding me back?

No CREATIVITY NEEDED!!!

One thing I LOVE about working from home with IT works is that you don't have to be creative!

When I was a photographer...I literally had to market, make a website, promote myself, email customers, process orders, customer reports, mail orders, submit orders, buy a credit card machine,  the LIST GOES ON and ON and on!!!

This is the most simple lay out. I basically share what I have with everyone and I don't have to recreate the wheel!!!

There is a website already made and it processes my orders, emails reminders, takes credit cards and reports and so much more!!!

Our family!

We don't exactly fit the typical mold of traditional US families with mom and dad and two children! We are a multi raced family. We have 4 biological children and 5 adopted sweethearts. I love how God brought each one of them to us and their story!  We always felt drawn to adoption but we thought we would adopt ONE! You can read here about our first adoption story!  I love how the Lord opens doors and brings families together!

It may seem strange how our It works business is all wrapped into our adoption but without it we would not been able to afford to adopt! God's plan to give us the funds to bring adopt and provide for them was in His perfect plan! 

When we first began our It works journey, it was more about getting out of debt. We started with a CRAZE to pay off as fast as we could. One year into the business, I was a double diamond in the company and we had worked hard to pay off debt, we decided to take a trip to the beach. We were celebrating Andrew's last trip at home before he left our family to go on a full time mission to Brazil. He had just graduated high school and preparing to leave. All of our kids were big enough to play and have fun on the beach so I went to walmart and picked up a new "read" for myself!!

The name of the book was called, "Are you willing to walk on water!" In those moments on the beach as my kiddos played I could feel the sweet promptings from the Lord that we would adopt again. I just didn't know when or how! I am not sure if it was the book that made me realize or the quiet time that I finally had alone.  It was no surprise that in one week, I met a beautiful birth mom and our next adoption story began there!!!

I'm not saying it was easy. There were many scary moments. I had many days of fear, doubt and just plain worry. It did not come easy but it was all worth it and it still is. I would do it all over again and again and again. 

I learned some lessons through this journey and one of them was I wasn't just born to pay bills and die. God put me on this earth for a purpose and for the first time in my life I feel like I am finding mine. I have always felt so drawn to adoption!  It wasn't just to work a 9-5 job and be tied up and my time to so taken by a job. I have finally found the freedom to answer calls of God and the worry of money has been taken away. I am so thankful to be able to answer His calling for my life. When you feel like you can be on His errand instead of yours then you get extra energy to do what He has called you to do! For this I am thankful!!!
